Upon arrival at Livingstone Airport, clients will be transferred by road with an English-speaking driver to David Livingstone Safari Lodge and Spa. (FLIGHTS into Livingstone airport is excluded from this quotation). David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa is a premier lodge and spa that lies on the banks of the Zambezi River at the celebrated Victoria Falls in Zambia, Southern Africa. The Victoria Falls provides a magnificent backdrop to this lodge, making it an exclusive choice. You can dine at the Pool Deck or Gwembe Terrace while appreciating the pristine river views or you can dine at the traditional Kalai Restaurant with Afro-Asian fusion dishes. Ujiji Bar is the ideal spot to sip a cocktail and revel in an African sunset or watch the sunset onboard the Lady Livingstone, the three-deck river cruiser. The David Livingstone spa, gym and wellness centre offers a wide variety of therapeutic and beauty treatments. This morning, clients will embark on a guided tour of the falls. Guided Tour Of The Falls Zimbabwe & Zambia (Hotels in Livingstone). It's hard to believe. Six hundred and fifty million litres of water from the Zambezi River crashes with great aplomb into the chasm below, which is of course, why the locals call Victoria Falls, Mosi oa Tunya, the smoke that thunders. The smoke is the permanent mist; spray even rain, which hangs over the falls and the surrounding forest, and the thunder? You will hear for yourself. The force and power of the Falls almost defies belief. We visit the falls from the Zambian side, and when it's in full flow, you'll experience the showers from the crushing falls below. Includes: Transfers, Victoria Falls Bridge Toll Fee, National Park Fees. Upon returning to the lodge, some time at leisure before embarking on a sunset cruise. African Queen Sunset Cruise. Join us on a lazy, leisurely sunset cruise aboard one of the finest boats on the Zambezi, the African Queen. We'll top up your drinks as the sun sinks over the water, and you'll be increasingly mesmerised by the exquisite views of the wild African bush. Nothing like it. We float past the Mosi oa Tunya National Park, and you're very likely to spot crocodiles, hippos, astonishing birdlife, perhaps elephants and whatever else comes down to the riverbank to drink. Upon arrival at Lusaka Airport, clients will be met by a representative who will escort them to their next flight to Mfuwe. Upon arrival at Mfuwe Airport, clients will be met and transferred to Time and Tide Chinzombo for a 3-night stay. Chinzombo is on the banks of the Luangwa River in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park. The land where fantastical beasts roam and the adventure of an authentic safari experience beckons. There are a select number of exquisite suites that have been built and designed using natural materials such as canvas, reeds and leather. Each of them has their own private plunge pool and a winding pathway connects all of them to a shared lounge and dining area as well as a library. Upon arrival at Lower Zambezi Airport, clients will be transferred to Time and Tide Chongwe River Camp for their 3-night stay.
