Climate

Portugal can get very hot, in fact it is one of the hottest countries in Europe with temperatures soaring to 104°F. In Autumn and winter it gets windy and experiences rain. In the South summers are from May to October and it gets warm with little rain. In the north it snows while the north-west has mild winters and a lot of rainfall. In the northeast, the winters are longer and summers are hot.

Where Beira Litoral pulls the interest of adventure seekers for surfing and peace lookers for its sunsets, the Beira Alta highlands is the way for nature lovers with extremely gorgeous backdrop of Serra De Estrela. The third beautiful part of Beira is the Beira Baixa, which is famous for its olive and oak forests.
