An Alpine wonder, the Jungfrau Region boasts of lofty mountains, green pastures, rolling meadows and winding mountain paths. A nature lover’s haven, it is meant for those who want to relish natural beauty and also for adventure enthusiasts interested in hiking and skiing. The famous big three- glacial monoliths are the ones that all tourists come for- Jungfrau, Monch and Eiger. There are many famous hiking trails from here, taking travelers to the peaks of these enormous mountains and giving panoramic views of the Alps.

Lucerne -

This lakeside town of Switzerland, Lucerne is a postcard-perfect town nestled amid lofty Alps. Its traditional landscape is still maintained with wooden bridges, fortified towers and old churches with vintage frescoes. Travelers spend quite some time exploring the city in boats at the Lucerne lake and some adventure enthusiasts also trek along the neighbouring the Stanserhorn, Mt Pilatus or Mt Rigi.

Rhine Falls

- A bewitching natural wonder in Switzerland, the Rhine falls are Europe’s largest waterfall. The falls have a mighty breath of 150 meters. The brave hearted can canoe to the nearby Schloss Laufen and Schloss Wörth castle to hear its loud roar while others can safely watch the spectacle from viewing decks.

Interlaken

This small lake city has been a popular tourist destination since 1800s. People used to come to this beautiful town for fresh air and to get spa treatments. Today, it is a stop over for getting up to the famous Swiss mountains, the Eiger, the Monch and also the Jungfrau. It is a base camp for outdoor activities like trekking in the nearby Bernese Oberland Alps.
