Essence of Africa
Visit: Addis Ababa-Bahir Dar-Gondar- Lalibela-Kampala-Bwindi-Manyar-Nairobi-Victoria Falls- Cape Town- Nairobi- Victoria Falls-Serengeti National Park-Ngorongoro
On arrival at the Bole International Airport, you will meet by representative at exit of luggage claim and transfer you to the hotel. Today you will have city tour and site seeing tour of Addis Ababa including the national museum, Merkato, Trinity cathedral and Entoto
Early morning, a short flight will take you to Bahir dar. Own Arrangements
Upon arrival, you will be met by our tour guides, drive to a hotel where you will check and rest for few minutes.
Your first visit will be to Lake Tana on a boat ride where you will visit to the medieval period island monasteries (beautiful mural paintings, religious books & sacred) on Lake Tana such as: Kibran Gabriel (only for men), Entos and on the Zegien peninsula visit Ura Kidan Mehiret, Azuwa Mariam, Mahal Giorgis. After lunch, you will drive (some 30 Km) and visit to the Blue Nile Falls. In the evening, you will have dinner and stay the night at the hotel
You will be driven to Gondar (185 Km) right after breakfast. Then you will check into a hotel and after a brief break, you will have lunch.
Then, you will visit to the Royal Castles & the Bath of Emperor Fasiledes (the bath is filled with water for the important Timkat (epiphany) ceremony once a year. You will continue your visit to Debre Birhan Selassie Church (Trinity at the Mount of Light), the Castle of Empress Mintewab, and Kuskwam Complex which is a royal compound built by the Empress Mentewab.
Early in the evening, you will visit ‘AzmariBet’ at Traditional Music Houses after which you will have dinner at the hotel and stay there for the night.
Morning drive to Semien Mountain to visit the marvellous scenery of the Semien Mountain, the endemic animals of Walya Ibex, Chilada Baboon and birds. Five Kms from Gonder you will see the old village of the black Jewish.
The full day you are in the semien mountain around Sankaber campsite. Sankaber lies within the park and found at an altitude of 3825msl. It is the place to see troops of Gelada Baboon on the way. They are very attractive and so taking picture of them is unforgettable. These are a different primates found only in Ethiopia and live on vegetables and soft roots. Walk to the wonderful viewpoints around Sankaber. Walk to Jimbar Waterfalls and then drive back to Gonder.
After breakfast, another short flight will take you to Lalibela. Own Arrangements
Upon arrival, you will be met by our tour guides, drive to a hotel where you will check and rest for few minutes. Your first visit will be to the eleven Rock-hewn Monolithic (carved from a single rock) Churches of Lalibela (UNESCO World heritage site, with magnificent architecture & paintings inside the churches). In the evening you will get back to the hotel, rest, have dinner and relax.
After a relaxed breakfast, a short flight will bring you back to Addis Ababa. (Flight Own Arrangements)
Then you to check in for your flight to Entebbe Airport. (Flight Own Arrangements)

Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide who will then take you your hotel
7.30am Transfer by private car from Kampala to the Gorilla Sanctuary of Bwindi. Lunch will be en-route in Mbarara at Igongo cultural centre. Depending on the arrival time, you may opt for a guided village walk around the community depending on the interest. Transit Time: 7-9 hours, Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner
After an early breakfast, depart to the park headquarters and proceed for briefing from park ranger guides at 7.30 before starting your Gorilla trek at 8.00am through steeply forested and beautiful landscape along several animal trails. The climax of the adventure is the opportunity to view the gentle and endangered mountain Gorillas which is an exciting and memorable experience, later return to your lodge for lunch. This may take 3 to 8 hours.

Proceed to check in for your onward flight from Entebbe to Lake Manyara (Flight Own Arrangements)

After breakfast drive Serengeti National Park arriving in time for check-inn and hot lunch at Serengeti Serena Lodge, post lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight.
Balloon Safari in the morning, and thereafter follows bush breakfast.

After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and proceed to Ngorongoro Serena Lodge arriving in time for lunch and check-inn, afternoon spent at leisure, dinner and overnight.
Early breakfast with packed lunch descend the crater for a full day game drive, after a day well spent ascend and drive back to Ngorongoro Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.
