Arrive Kilimanjaro Airport (flight booked by agent), where you are met and transferred to your hotel located a short distance from Arusha Town Centre.

Morning at leisure and safari briefing followed by lunch. Afternoon depart Arusha passing through the Masai Steppe filled with many picturesque African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. At the town of Makuyuni you turn North West and continue the village of Mto wa Mbu where you will find your camp ready to welcome you for your relaxing stay.

Somewhere in the middle of the rolling grasslands of Tanzania, against the dramatic angles of the Rift Valley Escarpment and overlooking Lake Manyara stands Lake Manyara Wildlife Camp. The 600-meter-high golden Rift Valley Escarpment creates a crater on the edge of which the camp is located.
Lake Manyara Wildlife Camp offers comfortable safari accommodations while remaining true to the natural element of the safari experience. The camp comprises of ten canvas tented lodgings and sixteen self-contained cottages, all with private balconies overlooking the real Africa, majestic, unfiltered and unadorned.
After breakfast there is a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park that returns to the lodge for lunch. Leaving Lake Manyara behind, the journey continues North West across the stunning hilly countryside of the highlands which is filled with wheat and coffee plantations, and then into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From here lie the vast plains of the Serengeti, where you begin spotting wildlife as you approach the entrance gate. Complete the formalities and enter the park with game viewing en route to the lodge arriving for dinner

Depart the lodge before sunrise and transfer by the balloon safari company’s vehicle (with other travellers) to the balloon staging site. After a briefing from the pilot, the crew will inflate the envelope. At sunrise, begin your ballooning adventure with flights at elevations to provide an overview of Serengeti National Park and a close look at the wildlife. After about 50 minutes, land and the chase crew transfer you to a private site where a bush breakfast complete with bubbly to celebrate the successful flight in the tradition of balloonists over the centuries. Transfer to your lodge or a mid-location where you meet your driver guide.
After breakfast depart for Ngorongoro viewing game across the vast Serengeti plains, stopping off en route for your picnic lunch. You then continue your journey towards Ngorongoro where you pass along the rim of the crater and descend to the park gate and your lodge located in Karatu surrounded by farmland and a view of the backwall of the crater.

A small and exclusive lodge facing the Oldeani Volcano, only 5 kilometres from the Ngorongoro Lolduare Gate, was built to offer our clients an original experience reminiscent of the atmosphere of the old days.
Ngorongoro Farm House offers 52 room cottages, 49 standard rooms and 3 suite rooms, all with ample space inside, built in the style of an old colonial farm and rustically decorated with local materials, offering our clients an imaginary journey to the life of the days gone by.
A highlight awaits you this morning as you depart to explore what is commonly referred to as the World’s largest natural wildlife arena. After breakfast, you descend with a picnic lunch through the early morning mists and 2,000 feet into the crater. Ngorongoro Crater is the World’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes. A truly unique wildlife experience. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Departing Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast, heading south east past Lake Manyara and Mto wa Mbu village. Through the highlands and the Karatu district, viewing the scenic wheat plains and coffee plantations here before journeying down the spectacular escarpment where you turn south on to the main Arusha – Dodoma road. Arrive at the camp for lunch and then travel a short distance to the Tarangire Park Gate where the afternoon is spent game viewing. Immerse in the views of the Tarangire River, large population of wildlife around the Silale swamps and the majestic baobab trees the park is so famous for. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Situated on the shores of Lake Burunge and located in the migratory corridor of Manyara and Tarangire, Lake Burunge Tented Camp is only 20-minute drive away from Tarangire National Park.
The camp has twenty thatched guest rooms and pleasant elevated public areas. Lake Burunge Tented Camp consists of 20 Luxury Tents and 10 Lodge Rooms nestled in a shady bush land grove, with spectacular views onto Lake Burunge. All rooms at Lake Burunge offer large beds with mosquito netting, en-suite bathrooms with built in showers, private verandas and views of Tarangire National Park and Lake Burunge.
Lake Burunge Tented Camp offers both refreshing outdoor and cosy indoor dining. The main building offers a central lounge and bar/dining area built on a raised wooden deck. This elevated platform is the ideal venue for guests to relax and enjoy a sundowner whilst the sun disappears over the lake, or to simply sit and enjoy the warm fire place. The bar is located on a delightful elevated wooden platform, affording spectacular views.
Depart after breakfast and head north east to Arusha. The journey will pass through the Masai Steppe filled with many picturesque African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. On arrival in Arusha lunch is provided followed by transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport to connect international departure flight (booked by agent).

Children younger than age 7 are not permitted on our seat in vehicle safaris. We welcome young children on private safaris.
One child aged 7-11 years sharing with 2 adults pays 55% of safari cost

We may have to reroute the itinerary or accommodate in similar lodges in case of non-availability.
Prices for domestic flights, airport taxes or park fees may be changed without prior notice. This is beyond our control and any increase levied will be passed to you.
Passenger Information
Passengers should bring only soft sided bags on safaris.
All the passengers must have Identification Card/Passport with them for internal flights.
Baggage on internal flights is strictly limited to 15kgs per person (including hand luggage). Any excess baggage will be charged by the airline at check-in.
Passengers arriving to Tanzania may be asked to present a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.
Transfers may be in a two wheel drive 7 passenger minibus or 24 passenger coach.
Luggage
Due to limited luggage space in vehicles, suitcases are unsuitable for scheduled road safaris. We recommend luggage packed in inexpensive barrel/sausage bags or soft sided bags not exceeding 15kgs and 65x46 cm.
Excess luggage can be handed over to the representative at time of briefing for storage in Arusha. Additional costs per booking will apply to handle excess luggage until your return to Arusha from the safari. This service can be pre-booked alternatively clients can pay for this directly on the ground.
