Morning at leisure and safari briefing followed by lunch. In the afternoon, board your safari vehicle and depart Arusha passing through the Masai Steppe filled with many picturesque African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. At the town of Makuyuni you turn North West and continue the village of Mto wa Mbu where you will find your camp ready to welcome you for your relaxing stay.

Somewhere in the middle of the rolling grasslands of Tanzania, against the dramatic angles of the Rift Valley Escarpment and overlooking Lake Manyara stands Manyara Wildlife Camp. The 600-meter-high golden Rift Valley Escarpment creates a crater on the edge of which the camp is located.
Manyara Wildlife Safari Camp offers comfortable accommodations while remaining true to the natural element of the safari experience. The camp comprises of ten canvas tented lodgings and sixteen self-contained cottages, all with private balconies overlooking the real Africa, majestic, unfiltered and unadorned.
After breakfast there is a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park that returns to the camp for lunch. Leaving Lake Manyara behind, the journey continues North West across the stunning hilly countryside of the highlands which is filled with wheat and coffee plantations, and then into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From here lie the vast plains of the Serengeti, where you begin spotting wildlife as you approach the entrance gate. Complete the formalities and enter the park with game viewing en route to the camp arriving for dinner

A semi-permanent tented camp located in Central Serengeti, strategically positioned to allow exploration of the vast Serengeti Plains. The camp offers comfortable accommodation and a unique opportunity to enjoy a true safari camp experience.
A cosy mess tent isolated in the centre of the camp where meals are served. The campfire is ready every evening for appetisers and snacks before dinner. The camp offers 15 tents with en suite facilities.

OPTIONAL Shared Hot Air Balloon Safari
You may book a hot air balloon safari for this day. Early morning shared transfer in the balloon company vehicle to the balloon staging site. You meet the pilot who provides a safety briefing while the crew inflate the hot air balloon. At sunrise, your shared hot air balloon lifts off over the Serengeti plains. At times, your pilot will ascend to a higher altitude to give you an overview of the ecosystem. Then you descend to just above treetop level to silently observe the wildlife below. After about 50 minutes, you land and are met by the balloon staff to transport you to your shared bush breakfast. You then return to your camp or lodge. Please note that the cost is NOT included in the safari cost. Please ask for the current rates.
After breakfast depart for Ngorongoro viewing wildlife across the vast Serengeti plains, stopping off en route for your picnic lunch. You then continue your journey towards Ngorongoro where you pass along the rim of the crater and descend to the park gate and your lodge located in Karatu surrounded by farmland and a view of the backwall of the crater.

A small and exclusive lodge facing the Oldeani Volcano, only 5 kilometres from the Ngorongoro Lolduare Gate, was built to offer our clients an original experience reminiscent of the atmosphere of the old days.
Ngorongoro Farm House offers 52 room cottages, 49 standard rooms and 3 suite rooms, all with ample space inside, built in the style of an old colonial farm and rustically decorated with local materials, offering our clients an imaginary journey to the life of the days gone by.

Tloma Lodge
Tloma Lodge is a small and exclusive lodge situated on top of a valley overlooking a stunning landscape. Nestled in the Ngorongoro Highlands Area, the lodge offers splendid views of the coffee plantation. Raised on the shoulder of a valley, Tloma Lodge provides breathtaking views over a coffee plantation. The garden is particularly attractive full of flowering plants and bushes with a heated outdoor pool. The lodge offers 34 spacious en-suite cottages built in the style of an old colonial farm. All rooms have large beds with mosquito nets, en-suite bathroom with built in shower and a private veranda.
Activities include guided nature walks in the Conservation Area, visit to the elephant caves, guided visits to the nearby Karatu village, walks to waterfalls and massages. It is also possible to see the coffee roasting process and the traditional skill of brick making.
A highlight awaits you this morning as you depart to explore what is commonly referred to as the World’s largest natural wildlife arena. After an early breakfast, you drive to the park gate and descend with a picnic lunch through the early morning mists and 2,000 feet into the crater. Ngorongoro Crater is the World’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes. A truly unique wildlife experience. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Depart after breakfast and head northeast to Arusha. The journey will pass through the Masai Steppe filled with many picturesque African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. On arrival in Arusha lunch is provided followed by transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport to connect international departure flight (booked by agent).

Note
PASSENGER INFORMATION
- Passengers should bring soft sided bags on safaris.
- All the passengers must have Identification Card/Passport with them for internal flights.
- Baggage on internal flights is strictly limited to 15kgs per person (including hand luggage). Any excess baggage will be charged by the airline at check-in.
- Due to limited luggage space in vehicles and internal aircrafts, hard suitcases are unsuitable for road-based safaris. We recommend soft sided suitcases and bags
- Travellers’ cheques are generally not accepted.
Luggage
Due to limited luggage space in vehicles, suitcases are unsuitable for scheduled road safaris. We recommend luggage packed in inexpensive barrel/sausage bags or soft sided bags not exceeding 15kgs and 65x46 cm.
Excess luggage can be handed over to the representative at time of briefing for storage in Arusha. Additional costs per booking will apply to handle excess luggage until your return to Arusha from the safari. This service can be pre-booked alternatively clients can pay for this directly on the ground.
