Safari departs Gran Meliá Arusha Hotel at 1400hrs. Clients must be in Arusha in time of the briefing by 1230hrs latest.
The earliest departure from Kilimanjaro International Airport on the last day of the safari should be after 1600 hours.
Afternoon 1400hrs join seat in vehicle safari and depart Arusha passing through the Masai Steppe filled with many picturesque African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. At the town of Makuyuni turn North West and continue the journey through a scenic escarpment that brings you to your lodge, perched on the edge of the Rift Valley with stunning views over the distant Lake Manyara.

Nestled on the rim of the Great Rift Valley with amazing views over Lake Manyara, the lodge is set in lush green gardens, alive with the sounds of the many birds that frequent the property. Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge is the ideal base for a visit to Lake Manyara National Park. Sitting around the outside fireplace watching the sun setting over the Great Rift Valley and listening to the humming of the birds in the background is a wonderful way to relax before your delicious evening meal. The lodge has a dining room where international, traditional and fusion cuisine is served inside and out. A relaxing lounge, cigar bar, television room, billiards room, internet cafe and children's activity room, plus a conference room are all located in the spectacular main house. There is also a beautiful rim flow swimming pool, an outside fireplace, a boutique and a spa.
The lodge 48 suites and 2 luxury 2 bedroom villas are all air-conditioned, tastefully decorated and have panoramic views of the surrounding area. Rooms are equipped with en suite bathrooms with bath, and inside and outside showers. Room facilities include a fireplace, mini bar, safe, wi-fi and private balcony.
After breakfast, there is a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park that returns to the lodge for lunch. Leaving Lake Manyara behind, the journey continues North West across the stunning hilly countryside of the highlands which is filled with wheat and coffee plantations, and then into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From here lie the vast plains of the Serengeti, where you begin spotting wildlife as you approach the entrance gate. Complete the formalities and enter the park with game viewing en route to the camp arriving for dinner

The Camp is tastefully decorated with all the amenities one would expect in a 5-star luxury camp. All the 20 luxury tents in each camp are en suite with flushing toilets and pressurized running showers. There is 24-hour electric power supply. The tents and the guest areas have been specifically designed to offer guests an optimum 180-degree view while on their bed or while enjoying their meal and drinks. They bring travellers as close to nature as possible from the covered verandas. These stunning views embrace the sparsely spaced acacia tortillas trees with the abundance of animals in the vicinity making the experience awe-inspiring.
The evenings can be enjoyed sitting around the fireplace while exchanging the day's adventures with other guests sipping cocktails or having meals where the background music is nature's unique sounds mostly dominated by the lions roaring as if in celebration to welcome you. The camps are conveniently located less than 40 minutes from Seronera Airstrip. All the essential roads/routes for game drives in and around Seronera are easily accessible from the campsite

After breakfast you depart for Ngorongoro with a picnic lunch viewing game across the vast Serengeti plains, stopping en route for a picnic lunch. Continue to your lodge, set high on the edge of the Ngorongoro Forest for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge
A 5-star colonial lodge situated on a picturesque hill with spectacular views onto Oldeani Mountain. The lodge is elevated with 360-degree views that extend all the way to Lake Eyasi and Lake Manyara. The property is set on 40 acres of pristine lush green gardens and local vegetation with over 130 species of birds.
The lodge is accessed over a pond and one's first impressions is the grand central hallway with wooden trusses looking out over the fire place, infinity pool and out onto the Mount Oldeani, which is part of the caldera of the world famous Ngorongoro crater, only 12km away! All 50 suites have infinite views of the surrounding area. A highlight awaits you this morning as you depart to explore what is commonly referred to as the World’s largest natural wildlife arena. After breakfast, you descend with a picnic lunch through the early morning mists and 2,000 feet into the crater. Ngorongoro Crater is the World’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes. A truly unique wildlife experience. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon.

Depart Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast, head south east past Lake Manyara and Mto wa Mbu Village. Through the highlands and the Karatu district, you’ll view the scenic wheat plains and coffee plantations here before journeying down the spectacular escarpment turning south on to the main Arusha – Dodoma road and into the park. From here to the camp, enjoy a game drive en route. After lunch board your safari vehicle and enjoy an afternoon game viewing within the park.

The latest jewel in the Wellworth Collection, Ole Serai Luxury Camp - Kuro is set in the heart of Tarangire National Park. Offering stylish, spacious tents with a full en suite bathroom including flushing toilet and pressurised shower, guest will fell well at home. Extensive verandahs provide guests with views of the bush, dotted with massive baobab trees and teeming with wildlife.

Depart after breakfast and head north east to Arusha. The journey will pass through the Masai Steppe filled with many picturesque African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. On arrival in Arusha you are dropped off at the city centre for onward arrangements.

Sole Participant Supplement
There is a supplement for a participant arriving and departing alone to cover the transfer costs. Participants travelling alone cannot be confirmed unless at least three other participants are already booked on the departure.
Child Rates on Request
Children younger than age 7 are not permitted on our seat in vehicle safaris. We welcome young children on private safaris.
One child aged 7-11 years sharing with 2 adults pays 55% of safari cost
Two children aged 7-11 years sharing their own room pay 75% of adult rate
Additional remarks
We may have to reroute the itinerary or accommodate in similar lodges in case of non-availability.
Prices for domestic flights, airport taxes or park fees may be changed without prior notice. This is beyond our control and any increase levied will be passed to you.
Passenger Information
Passengers should bring only soft sided bags on safaris.
All the passengers must have Identification Card/Passport with them for internal flights.
Baggage on internal flights is strictly limited to 15kgs per person (including hand luggage). Any excess baggage will be charged by the airline at check-in.
Passengers arriving to Tanzania may be asked to present a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.
Transfers may be in a two wheel drive 7 passenger minibus or 24 passenger coach.
Luggage
Due to limited luggage space in vehicles, suitcases are unsuitable for scheduled road safaris. We recommend luggage packed in inexpensive barrel/sausage bags or soft sided bags not exceeding 15kgs and 65x46 cm.
Excess luggage can be handed over to the representative at time of briefing. It will be handed over to you on your return from safari. Additional costs may apply to pick up drop off luggage at specific points.
