Upon arrival and transfer to selected hotel in Guatemala City for accommodations.
Breakfast. Transfer from your hotel to the Guatemalan Highlands along the Panamerican Highway to Chichicastenango, a quiche Indian town surrounded by hills and mountains that jealously keep the inhabitants’
traditions, as they melt their prehispanic and catholic rituals at the 400 years old church of Santo Tomas, built on the remains of a Mayan Temple. Here, market days, Thursdays and Sundays, acquire great meaning and smoky incense impregnates the atmosphere with mysticism and religiosity. People barter their product and the market explodes with color, tradition, and folklore. At indicated time, transfer to Panajachel, a village located on the shores of Lake Atitlan. Considered as one of the most beautiful lakes around the world, surrounded by three volcanoes Atitlan, Tolimán, and San Pedro that are protecting the lake. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to the Hotel for accommodations.
Breakfast. At indicated time, you will enjoy a morning boat trip to Santiago Atitlán. This village is located on the south part of Lake Atitlan, on the slopes of the Atitlan Volcano. On a very short walking, you will visit the church of Santiago Apostol and then visit the confraternity of Maximón. At indicated time, transfer from Panajachel to Antigua Guatemala.
Breakfast. Departure from your hotel to visit Antigua Guatemala. There you will visit the Colonial Monuments of Antigua Guatemala, declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity and considered one of the most beautiful colonial cities of America, during the colonial period was the capital of the Kingdom of Guatemala that included the southern provinces of Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica; political, cultural, religious, economic center of the Central American area, the city stopped its march after the earthquake in 1773, the city was uninhabited and then moved to the Nueva Guatemala de la Asunción (official name of Guatemala City). Continue visiting the Jade factory and the handicraft market. You will also visit nearby towns of San Juan el Obispo and Santa María de Jesús. At the end of the tour, return to your hotel.
Box breakfast will be delivered by the hotel. At 03:30 am, you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight to Mundo Maya International Airport in Petén. At arrival, visit to the Archaeological Site of Tikal “Place of Voices”, surrounded by the tropical forest that has kept Tikal in its millennial dream. Visit the main Plaza and the Temple of the Great Jaguar, central acropolis, Mundo Perdido and temple IV from where you can observe the majesty of the city and the emerald green jungle. After lunch (included – no drinks), transfer to the selected hotel for accommodations.
Breakfast. We will boat ride Rio Dulce, where we can appreciate between tropical flora and an extend bird diversity. Then, we will visit El Fuerte of San Felipe, sailors’ refuge due to external pressure from Caribbean pirates. When you arrive to Livingstone, you will walk through the Street filled with the Caribbean flavor of the Garifunas. Return to Rio Dulce or transfer to Mariscos. Accommodations.
Breakfast. Departure to Quiriguá archaeological Site (Guatemala), while crossing the road, you can appreciate bananas crops. Then, we arrive to El Florido border and headed to Copán (Honduras), where Mayan Culture left an indelible imprint in one of the most fascinated settlements: funeral steles, petroglyphs staircase and amazing temples which is an amazing heritage through time, it still remained as witness of one of the most advanced civilization of ancient world. Accommodations.
Breakfast. Depart from you hotel to Copán, Honduras, It is an archaeological site of the Maya civilization located in the Copán Department of western Honduras, not far from the border with Guatemala. It was the capital city of a major Classic period kingdom from the 5th to 9th centuries AD. The city was located in the extreme southeast of the Mesoamerican cultural region, on the frontier with the Isthmo-Colombian cultural region, and was almost surrounded by non-Maya peoples. In this fertile valley now lies a city of about 3000, a small airport, and a winding road.
Enjoy a unique tour through Copan (declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site), this archaeological site has a special connection with Quiriguá and covers the most impressive dynasty of the Mayan world the dynasty Yax Kuk Mo. You will have free time to take lunch in Copán village by your own. At the end of the tour, return to your hotel for accommodations
Breakfast. Early in the morning, you have to departure from Copan to San Salvador. You will visit Santa Ana route and Joya de Ceren. Then you will be transfer to San Salvador. Accommodations in selected Hotel.
Breakfast. In the morning, you will visit San Salvador and a colonial town called Suchitoto, which is located at the northeast of the Capital City. It has an amazing landscape and a Suchitlan Lake that you will appreciate. At the evening, you will departure to La Union. Accommodations in Comfort Inn, La Union.
Breakfast. Departure from your hotel and headed to the municipal dock for a delightful ride on the Fonseca Gulf. You will arrive to Potosi, and after migratory process in Nicaragua frontier, you will head to Leon. At your arrival, you will be transfer to selected hotel.
Breakfast. In the morning, you will visit the City, La Recolección, El Calvario, and The Cathedral, where Ruben Dario grave is located. In the evening, you will have time for rest and visit the city.
Breakfast. You will departure to Granada at the evening. In the morning, you will visit Masaya volcano. Transfer to Granada where you´ll visit the Colonial City. Accommodations in selected hotel
