Itinerary

Upon arrival at the airport in Managua, the country’s capital city you will be met by our Guide who will accompany you to the hotel in Leon. Accommodation in Leon.

Breakfast at the hotel 1000 hrs. This all-inclusive tour makes you discovery the best Nicaragua can offer in a single day. In the morning Discover Granada, the most beautiful, beguiling and photogenic Spanish-Colonial city and oldest continuously inhabited European established settlement in Nicaragua founded by Spanish captain Francisco Hernández de Cordoba in 1524. Enjoy a pleasant boat trip thru the lush and romantic volcanic islets of Lake Nicaragua. Free time for lunch not included in Granada. In the afternoon you will visit the colourful Craft Market at the city of Masaya. At the end of the day explore one of the world's most active volcanoes “Masaya Volcano National Park” and discover the lava lake from the active crater Santiago one of just eight lava lakes on the planet. Accommodation in Granada.

Meal Plan: Breakfast

Breakfast at hotel 0730 hrs. Expedition to Mombacho Volcano Nature Reserve, where you can admire the beautiful flora and fauna, and enjoy the refreshing weather on the slopes of the volcano. We will visit the biological station, making a brief tour of one of the main contemplatives and interpretive paths of the Volcano: The Crater. We will continue to Catarina, famous for its viewpoint over the Apoyo lagoon. Here you will have free time for lunch not included. Then, we will have the opportunity to visit one of the craft workshops in the area; there you can live the experience of making a craft. Finally, we will visit the Laguna de Apoyo. Free time to enjoy nature or take a dip in the warm waters of this volcanic lagoon. Return to Granada. Accommodation in Granada.
