Welcome to Siem Reap! Here is your 3-day itinerary to explore Angkor complex. We hope this itinerary helps you explore the amazing temples of Angkor complex. If you have any further queries, please don't hesitate to ask!

Upon arrival at Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport or CF Mekong meetings point, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel (rooms may not be ready until afternoon).

In the afternoon, you will visit Senteurs d'Angkor, a Cambodian souvenir shop specializing in scents, spices, soaps, and other handmade products that are ethically sourced, produced, and packaged. Here, you can experience the true essence of Khmer aromas, and explore the complex creative process behind the locally-made products. The day will continue with a visit to the most famous, Angkor temple, the architectural masterpiece, Angkor Wat which was built in the 12th century by King Suryavarman 11 as a dedication to the Hindu god Vishnu.

Watch an incredible sunset at Pre Rup temple if time permits.

Dinner at local restaurant.

End your day at the Angkor Night Market (open 4pm-11pm) which offers a pleasant venue for shopping and strolling in the evening. There is a whole array of stalls selling Cambodian handicrafts, along with souvenirs and trinkets, some of the items sold here come from the remote villages, made by small communities. If you don’t like shopping, relax in one of the bars with a drink, have a massage or watch a movie in the 3D Cinema complex.  

Overnight stay at your hotel.

Sunrise, Ta Prohm, Angkor Thom Complex and Phare circus.

Wake up early for a special sunrise experience at Angkor Wat (we recommend to bring a torch).  Watch the sunrise from Angkor Wat’s five towers and soak up the early morning atmosphere. Start an early visit to the famous Ta Prohm temple with its jungle setting, and numerous tree roots crawling over the temple walls. Afterward, return to the hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast you will start your exploration of the Angkor Thom complex, built in the 12th century. You will visit the South Gate which is one of the five entrances to the ancient capital and take a stroll through the Bayon temple, famous for its unique smiley-faced stone carvings.

Lunch at a local restaurant in the temple area.

Drive back to Siem Reap. Visit "Les Artisans d'Angkor - Chantiers Ecoles," a center dedicated to nurturing young artisans. Witness firsthand the incredible creations of this talented team, ranging from intricate ornamental sculptures to stunning lacquer ware and exquisite silk weavings and paintings. This company is committed to promoting fair and sustainable development, aiming to empower rural communities.

Or explore the local market at your leisure.

18:00 pm Dinner will be served at a local restaurant.

20:00 pm Enjoy a visit to Phare, The Cambodian Circus’ (B-seat) which is a daily 1 hour show. Marvell at the fine mixture of traditional and modern theatre, authentic music, athletic acrobatics, spectacular dance, amazing juggling as well as contortion, comedy and more, a beautifully choreographed and performed story about Cambodian lives and society.  The famous artists of Phare Ponleu Selpak Artistic and Social Center will leave you with memories filled with energy and emotions. PPS Association is a Cambodian non-profit, non-governmental association founded in 1994 by eight young Cambodian ex-refugee artists. The non-profit organization seeks to build artists' careers and invites you on the journey to fulfil a dream and bring Cambodian arts to the wider world.

Returning back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Preah Khan, Banteay Kdei and Neak Pean.

Breakfast at hotel In the morning, you will visit to several temples such as Banteay Kdei (surrounded by 4 concentric walls), Preah Khan, a former Buddhist university, Neak Pean, a small island temple built in the middle of a pool.

Transfer to the CF Mekong Ship meeting point in Siem Reap or to Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport for departure flight to the next destination.

Notes:
•To enter the Angkor complex, visitors must have a passport-sized photo attached to any multiple-day entrance passes. While visitors can have their photo taken at the entrance checkpoint without an additional charge, it is recommended to bring a passport photo beforehand.
•While making air ticket reservations, guests must provide their full names as they appear in their passports. Keep in mind that airfares and reservations may change until they have been paid in full and ticketed.
•Airfares are subject to change without prior notice, and prices may be adjusted periodically in the event of supplier fuel price increases.
•The quote provided is for informational purposes only, and no reservations have been made yet.
•Visitors must have a valid passport with at least six months of validity beyond their intended stay in Cambodia and one passport photo for visa purposes.
•The Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda are open daily from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM (closed to new visitors at 10:45 AM) and from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (closed to new visitors at 4:45 PM), except during religious ceremonies or Royal rituals.
•The Toul Sleng Genocide Museum is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and the last admission is at 4:45 PM.
•The National Museum in Phnom Penh is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and visitors cannot enter after 4:45 PM.
•For sightseeing tours, it is recommended that visitors wear light and comfortable clothing, walking shoes, and use sunscreen lotion and hats. While many tourists wear shorts and sleeveless shirts, it is essential to respect Cambodian culture and tradition by wearing suitable clothing. Knees and shoulders must be covered when visiting temples and pagodas, including the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda in Phnom Penh. Visitors who do not comply with these rules of conduct may be denied entry, and shoes (and hats) must be removed before entering pagodas.
•When buying jewelry in Cambodia, visitors should use caution as it is commonly below international standards for design and workmanship. It is prudent not to follow any recommendations, as many gems are counterfeit.
•Certain parts of the touring programs are outsourced to independent third parties such as airlines, hotels, local suppliers, and transport operators. GGTS is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage occurring outside of the normal touring programs, including those caused by delay, accident, natural disasters, and political unrest. Additionally, any expenses incurred by tourists due to these conditions should be borne by them.
•Due to frequent flight changes, delays, and cancellations by domestic airlines, it is not guaranteed that the proposed itinerary will be executed as planned.
