Alila Manggis is situated within the regency of Karangasem, close to the town of Candidasa. Here the local people follow a traditional lifestyle, whether cultivating rice, farming, fishing, weaving baskets and the famous double ikat textiles, or salt making. Various walking tours are available, taking in sights like Mount Agung, home to Bali’s mother temple at Besakih, and the spectacular terraced hillsides. Other tours can be arranged to see the traditional Bali Aga village of Tenganan, the water palaces of Tirta Gangga and Ujung, the weaving village of Sidemen, the Kerta Gosa Palace of Justice at Klungkung, and various Balinese temples. The waters east of Manggis teem with diverse marine life and are home to seven wondrous dive sites.

Pick up at the airport by our English speaking guide and private transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Tanjung Benoa - Nusa Dua

Pick up at the Hotel and departure to Klungkung, the ancient capital of Bali, where we will visit the Palace of Justice, built by the Dutch in 1904. We continue to the small fishing village of Kusumba. Then visit Tenganan, the typical Balinese village. Before checking in at the hotel, visit the water palace of Tirta Gangga, where the last King of the Karang Asem region lived. Accommodation in Candidasa

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from towards Besakih known as The Mother Temple and one of the most sacred for the Balinese. We will continue towards Kintamani, located at about 1,700 meters above sea level, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Volcano and Lake Batur. En route to the hotel in Lovina, visit the Beji Temple in Sangit, a Subak temple dedicated to the spirit that takes care of the irrigation and rice fields. Overnight in Lovina

First thing in the morning, take a traditional boat to see the dolphins. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Then drive to the tranquil mountainous region of Bedugul and Lake Beratan. In the afternoon we will visit the wonderful Tanah Lot temple and then transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Ubud.

Depart from the hotel for a full day excursion. We will visit the famous Tegalalang Rice Terraces. Then we will visit the Tirtha Empul Temple in Tampak Siring, known as the Temple of the sacred spring and we will end the day at the Gunung Kawi Temple where the Tomb of King Udayana is located. Overnight in Ubud.

Breakfast at the hotel and at the indicated time transfer to the airport for the flight to the next destination.
