Banaue Heritage Tour With Coron, Palawan 13 days

( 5 Star )
The Philippines is an archipelago bounded by the Pacific Ocean to the east the Bashi Channel to the north the Sulu and the Celebes Seas to the south. You can find us East of Vietnam, North of Indonesia. The country is divided into the geographical areas of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Its capital, the City of Manila, is in Luzon. You can also enter through the cities of Cebu in the Visayas, and Davao in Mindanao. Mabuhay! The country is made up of 7,107 islands. Some have grown into cities. Some are the epitome of tropical dreams. Some are just long enough to lay down on and get a tan. Big. Small. Sandy. Sunny. Relaxing. Exotic. Beautiful. Our little clutch of islands makes for one long stretch of beach – more than 15,500 kilometers. Here, no one is more than two hours away from a beach-side lounge chair — which explains why everybody knows how to smile and have fun!

At the time of arrival in Manila meet and greet at the Airport by GGTS representative. Proceed to hotel and Check-in. Welcome to Manila! “Get lost in the heart of fun! Discover new experiences at every turn on the charming streets of Manila” Overnight accommodation

After breakfast, check-out hotel and proceed to Domestic Airport Check-in at Domestic Airport for flight to Cauayan, Isabela Arrival in Cauayan Airport Meet and greet at the Airport and travel by land to Banaue (traveling time is approximately 3 – 4 hours) Welcome to Cauayan! Cauayan is a city in Isabela situated in the center of this big and naturally rich province. The town got its name from the word “Cauayan” meaning bamboo in the dialect of Gaddang, the early settlers of this place. Cauayan was an original town of the Province of Cagayan. It was transferred to Nueva Vizcaya when it became a province in 1839. Upon the creation of Isabela as a province by a Royal Decree issued on May 1, 1856, it was reverted as a town of the province. Lunch at a local restaurant enroute to Banaue or upon check-in in the hotel Arrive in Banaue Check-in at Banaue Hotel Rest of the afternoon is free at leisure Overnight accommodation Breakfast included.

After breakfast, depart hotel for Banaue local village tour Departure by exclusive local jeepney for the tour of the rice terraces and one of its villages. Banga-an is a traditional village nestled in a panoramic valley of terraces. The 20- minute walk on a descending trail permits a closer look of the Ifugao world. Visit a typical home to see their way of life. Proceed to the viewpoint to witness the Rice Terraces acclaimed as the "8th Wonder of the World" & UNESCO World Heritage Site, built over 2,000 years ago. Lunch at a local restaurant or inside the hotel Rest of the afternoon is free at leisure Overnight accommodation Breakfast included

After breakfast, depart hotel for Hapao and Batad Rice Terraces tour Onboard a local non-airconditioned jeepney visit the picturesque town of Hapao where you will view the Banaue rice terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The terraces are just a few of extensive stoned-walled terraces-built centuries ago. It is believed that it is in this place where the origin of the terraces culture of the Ifugao started. Leave Hapao Rice Terraces and proceed to Batad Rice Terraces The amphitheater-like rice terraces of Batad are without a doubt one of the most breathtaking views I have witnessed. The 2,000-year-old rice terraces are also some of the most remote in the world, located in a tiny village only accessible on foot. When people say ‘getting there is half the adventure’, well they were probably talking about the journey to Batad. Traveling to this UNESCO World Heritage site is not for the faint hearted, so it’s best you know a few things before planning your trip. Drive back to Banaue Overnight accommodation Breakfast included.

After breakfast, depart hotel for Bontoc and Sagada Tour Visit the picturesque town of Sagada, stop and see their ancient burial caves. Visit also Bontoc Museum founded by a Belgian Sister, which houses a varied collection of authentic artifacts and photos from the mountain tribes. Lunch enroute, and proceed back to Banaue. Continuation of the tour Drive back to Banaue Rest of the afternoon is free at leisure Overnight accommodation Breakfast included.

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Manila Travel by land through the land locked evergreen provinces of Nueva Ecija and Nueva Vizcaya. Countryside settings such as rice fields surrounding the small towns and villages are common sight showing simplicity of living. In San Jose City, a short stop at a local restaurant for lunch (on personal account) Resume drive to Manila, stop at Dalton Pass and Sta. Fe, Nueva Vizcaya, passing by Bagabag, where picturesque mountains and rivers start to ascend to the Ifugao land. Arrive in Manila late in the afternoon or early evening. Check-in at hotel Overnight accommodation Breakfast included.

After breakfast , check-out hotel and proceed to Domestic Airport Check-in at Domestic Airport for flight to Coron (Busuanga), Palawan Welcome to Coron! Coron is one of Palawan’s most popular beach and island destinations. It has caught the attention of many due to its World War II wreck diving spots, beautiful rock formations, and unbelievably clear waters. It is also considered a more quiet and laid back sibling of El Nido, another famous Palawan destination because of its gorgeous waters and scenery. Coron certainly has a unique charm to it and worth adding to your travel bucket list when in the Philippines. Time of arrival in Busuanga Airport Meet and greet at the Airport by The Funny Lion Inn Representative and proceed to the hotel Check-in at hotel Rest of the afternoon is free at leisure Overnight accommodation Breakfast included.

After breakfast, depart for guided island activities Coron has breathtaking tourist spots like Twin Lagoon and Kayangan Lake, one of the cleanest lakes in the whole country. It’s nicknamed as The Blue Lagoon and surrounded by tall limestone formations, making the area look and feel very secluded. Picnic lunch Sights to visit for the Ultimate Tour: Kayangan Lake, Twin Lagoon, Atwayan Beach, Skeleton Wreck, CYC Beach, Coral Garden After the tour, transfer back to hotel in the afternoon Overnight accommodation Breakfast and lunch included.

After breakfast, depart for guided island activities Approaching Coron town proper from the water, it’s not uncommon to wonder whether the long journey was worth it. But Busuanga's commercial centre shouldn’t be judged by appearances alone, for it is but a gateway to other adventures in and around Coron Bay and the heavenly Calamian Islands. Visit Mt. Tapyas and enjoy a relaxing dip at the Maniquit Hot Springs Lunch at a local restaurant Back to hotel in the afternoon Overnight accommodation Breakfast and lunch included.
