On this tour, a 5-night Arctic adventure in Rovaniemi, Finland offers a mix of festive charm and winter activities. A visit to Santa Claus Village is included, along with a snowmobile ride across the Arctic Circle and a reindeer encounter. The Northern Lights can be seen on a guided photo tour, while a husky safari provides a chance to explore the snowy wilderness. An optional ice floating experience under the stars is available.

The Arctic journey begins with a direct transfer from Rovaniemi Airport to the Nova Skyland Hotel. An Aurora suite is provided for the next five nights, ensuring both comfort and style. In the evening, a 3-course dinner is served, offering a taste of local cuisine and marking the start of the Northern Lights adventure.

The day begins with a visit to Santa Claus Village, where Santa can be met, his Post Office explored, and gifts purchased. Lunch is included before the next activity. A snowmobile safari follows, leading to a local reindeer farm. Clients will enjoy a reindeer sleigh ride where they will receive a reindeer driving license and an Arctic Circle crossing ceremony is attended, with a certificate provided. Hot drinks are served afterward. The Aurora Borealis Picnic is available as an optional evening activity and can be added to the total cost.

In the evening, an Aurora hunting photo tour is arranged. Travel takes place by bus to various locations selected for optimal Northern Lights viewing. Professional photos are taken by a guide, and night photography techniques are shared. Hot drinks and gingerbread cookies are provided during the tour.

A husky safari is experienced, beginning with a warm welcome from the eager huskies. A silent sledge ride takes place through stunning landscapes, lasting 45-60 minutes and covering 7-10 km. A break is included for photos. Each sled is shared by two people, with children seated in a sleigh. Hot drinks are served afterward. An optional 3-hour Aurora ice floating experience is available.

The adventure concludes today. A transfer is provided for the journey back to the airport.

Local tip - While in Rovaniemi, make sure to stop by Arktikum Museum—it’s a great place to dive into Lapland’s history and Arctic life. If you have some extra time, head up to Ounasvaara Hill for a walk. The trails are easy to explore and lead to some breathtaking panoramic views, especially at sunrise or sunset!
