Athens and Poros 8 days

Breakfast at the hotel and day at disposal. You will have the possibility (optional) to visit Acropolis and Museum of Acropolis on your own or in organized tour in English Language or on Private basis in Polish Language. Our expert guide will take you to see the center of the city, the constitution Square (Syntagma), the House of Parliament (ex. Royal Palace), the Tomb to the Unknown Soldier, Schliemann s House, the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, the University and the National library. On your way to the Acropolis you will see the Hadrian’s Arch, St. Paul s Church, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and will have a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Modern Olympic Games were held in 1896. On the Acropolis visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion with its porch of Maidens and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “puts order in the mind”, the famous Parthenon. Continue with visit of the well-known Acropolis museum, one of the best museums in Europe. Overnight stay at hotel in Athens.

After breakfast, morning transfer to the Port of Piraeus. Embarkation to the hydrofoil sailing to Poros Island. Duration of travel about 1 hour. Arrival at the port of Poros and transfer to your hotel.Rest of the day at leisure.Overnight stay at hotel in Poros

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 3 full days in Poros Island. You will have the opportunity to explore this picturesque island of the Argosaronic gulf. Poros is a small, volcanic little island of great beauty and very close to Athens. The island's name means narrow straight and is separated from the Peloponnese and the picturesque town of Galatas by a 370 meters canal. It is considered a very romantic place but is also great for families or backpackers. Poros is a very green island, as the ferry approaches you can admire the pines that cover the small hills and the beaches. The town of Poros is built on the small peninsula of Sferia mainly on the small hill overlooking the port. Overnight at your hotel on the beach of Askeli one of the best beaches on the island. (Breakfast)

After breakfast at the hotel. Check out and transfer to the port. Embarkation to the ferry travelling back to Athens. Arrival at the port of Piraeus and transfer to your hotel in Athens. Free time and overnight stay (Breakfast).

After breakfast. At the indicated time departure transfer to the Athens Airport.
