Baobab and Lemurs
Arrival into Ivato International Airport, meet your English -Speaking Driver-Guide and head north to Kirindy and arrive at the end of the afternoon. Arrival to the hotel take some time to settle and refresh, then begin with your first activity with a night stroll in the Kirindy forest. Here is the best place to observe the smallest lemur in the world, the Mrs Berthe Mouse lemur, and other species of sporting lemur and the Giant Jumping Rat (all endemic species) – 2h/2h30 stroll approx.

Relais du Kirind (Standard Room)Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will explore the forest again, this time in the daylight. This deciduous dry forest is the natural habitat of the largest carnivore of Madagascar, the “Fosa” the lemur predator. The forest is also home to 3 remarkable baobab species, other lemur species could also be found during your visit (2 to 4h stroll in the forest) Lunch at your own account. You will have a night stroll again to observe nocturnal wildlife which you might have missed the previous night. Head back to the hotel.
