This is a small group package tour with a minimum of 06 guests booking. Rates are available on request for a private tour for 02 guests as well

Upon arrival into Kigali, you are met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at Kigali Serena Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.

This morning you drive to Akagera National Park arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, you go for an afternoon game drive in the park. You return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Overnight at Ruzizi Tented Camp on a full board basis.

Today you have a morning and afternoon game drive of the National Park with a boat ride on Lake Ihema offering views the waterfowl that make home in the lake. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Overnight at Ruzizi Tented Camp on a full board basis.

This morning, you drive to Butare, stopping in Nyanza en-route to visit the ancient palace of Mwami, a Rwandan King. You have lunch at a restaurant in Butare before continuing to Nyungwe National Park. Drive through the forest arriving late afternoon for dinner and overnight. Overnight at One & Only House of Nyungwe on a full board basis.

Today, you trek in the forest, tracking chimpanzees. The afternoon is at leisure or you can choose to book a Colobus Monkey Trek, Canopy walk or bird walk (contact ggts for the same). Overnight at One & Only House of Nyungwe on a full board basis.

This morning is at leisure or you can choose to book a Colobus Monkey Trek, Canopy walk or bird walk (contact ggts for the same). Mid-morning depart with a picnic lunch and travel to Gisenyi with spectacular views en-route. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Overnight at Lake Kivu Serena Hotel on a full board basis.

Today, you spend the morning at leisure to enjoy the lake. Overnight at Lake Kivu Serena Hotel on a full board basis.

Early morning drive to Ruhengeri, the base for Gorilla trekking at the Volcanoes National Park. You have a briefing about the gorilla trek and then set out on foot in search of your assigned gorilla group. Once you have found your group, you have an hour to observe their fascinating interactions. You then return to the park gate by foot where you meet your driver who transfers you back to your lodge for lunch. Overnight at The Bishops House – Deluxe on a full board basis.

Morning at leisure or option to go on a second gorilla trek or set out on a Golden Monkey Trek (permits are not included and supplement will be charged, contact ggts for the same), followed by lunch at the lodge. Afternoon at leisure Overnight at The Bishops House – Deluxe on a full board basis.

After breakfast, you are transferred to Kigali Airport to connect for your onward flight (flights must be booked after midday).

All Passengers must do the same activity i.e. one can not choose to do a gorilla trek and the other a Golden Monkey trek as the trail heads are different and an extra vehicle is required for transfers.

Children under 15 years of age are not allowed to do the gorilla tracking and must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Please advise full passport details at time of requesting bookings to enable us to secure the gorilla permits.

PERMITS ONCE PURCHASED CANNOT BE CANCELLED, TRANSFERRED OR AMENDED.

We may have to reroute the itinerary or accommodate in similar lodges in case of non-availability.

Prices for domestic flights, airport taxes or park fees may be changed without prior notice. This is beyond our control and any increase levied will be passed to you.

All the passengers must have Identification Card/Passport with them for internal flights.

Baggage on internal flights is strictly limited to 15kgs per person (including hand luggage). Any excess baggage will be charged by the airline at check-in

Travel in Rwanda is in short wheelbase 4x4 vehicles seating 6 passengers and the driver. This includes a passenger next to the driver and a passenger in the middle rear seat. Should travellers prefer to have more space, we suggest you consider the option of two vehicles when there are 6 travellers in a booking.
