Whilst this tour takes in many activities it is not a difficult day as there are several stops for walking, coffee and soft drink breaks.
The tour commences in the new financial heart of the African continent in the Sandton CBD with a drive past the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and moves onto the wealthiest suburbs on the African continent, Sandhurst and Hyde Park and then progresses to Houghton with a drive past President Mandela’s home in this beautiful suburb.
Thereafter you enter the bustling high rise cosmopolitan suburb of Hillbrow formerly the home to most of South Africa’s European immigrants and now home to South Africa’s African diaspora.
You then progress to Constitution Hill for your first stop, the home of the Constitutional Court, down to the business district of Braamfontein which hosts the world famous University of the Witwatersrand, across the Nelson Mandela
Bridge into Newtown for your second stop at Main Street where you will walk around the old Mining House District, home to most of the World’s largest mining companies such as Anglo American and BHP Billiton.
You re-join your vehicle for a drive past Gandhi Square named after Mahatma Gandhi who lived in South Africa during his early years as a lawyer
12:00 After the tour you will be transferred to the airport for flight to Cape Town, departing at 1530 (flight booked by local operator – TBA). Upon arrival in Cape Town at 1740, collect your luggage and meet your English speaking driver in the Arrivals Hall – transfer to your hotel to check in.

The Mother City is steeped in history, culture and scenic wonders, and offers an abundance of things to see and do
The drive to the city takes you past famous landmarks. We will pass the Dias statue, the Van Riebeek statue and Train station, before your visit to the Castle of Good Hope, built between 1666 and 1679 by the Dutch East India Company (VOC). The Castle was developed as a maritime replenishment station, and from 1678 it was the center of civilian, administrative and military life at the Cape until the area grew and operations expanded elsewhere. Today, the Castle is the seat of the military in the Cape, and is open for visitors to explore and learn more about its history.
The route then leads you to the magnificent Table Mountain (weather permitting), or in the event of inclement weather, Signal Hill. You will ascend to the top by the revolving cable car. Here, you will see wild flowers, daisies, silver tree, and marvel at a birds-eye view of the city and its beaches. On a clear day, it is even possible to see Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned.
After that descend back to the city, move on to a visit of the Company Gardens, a large public park and botanical garden set in the heart of Cape Town, home to a rose garden, Japanese garden, fish pond and aviary, and driving through Malay quarters, also known as the Bo-Kaap, which means "Above Cape" because of its location up against the slopes of Table Mountain. There after visit Greenmarket square for some souvenirs.

This is an awe-inspiring tour to the towering headland known as Cape Point. Magnificent beaches, breath-taking views, historic and picturesque coastal villages are to be seen along the way. The Cape Peninsula is one of the world’s most scenic areas and stretches from the City center to Cape Point.
Travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point Bantry Bay, Clifton, and Camps Bay, stopping at Maiden Cove look-out point for a panoramic view of the Twelve Apostles, before continuing to Hout Bay, a quaint village and fishing harbour with magnificent mountain views and beach. Take a 40-minute optional cruise (excluded) from Hout Bay harbour to Duiker Island, the Seal Colony beneath the well-known Sentinel Mountain where you can view thousands of Cape Fur Seals in their natural environment. (weather permitting)
On through Chapman’s Peak, one of the world’s most breath-taking coastal drives, to Cape Point.
The Good Hope Nature Reserve, has magnificent fynbos vegetation, birdlife, endemic antelope species and zebra, historic shipwrecks, and lighthouses.
You will take the Flying Dutchman funicular to the top of Cape Point for excellent viewing opportunities from the two lighthouses that adorn the point. Cape Point is perceived to be the meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.
Thereafter continue to historic Simon’s Town, a village with charming Victorian architecture, a naval base, and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach where you will get to walk alongside the penguins.
14:00 Lunch will be at Harbour House Kalk Bay restaurant, which is included in the price.
16:00 Return to Cape Town via the Ou Kaapse Weg with magnificent views of the Constantia Valley
Freshen up at the hotel.
18:00 Meet your ESD and transfer to Gold Restaurant for dinner and show. Overnight stay.
08:00 - You will be met by your English-Speaking driver / guide and depart on your full day Wine Route tour
You will visit historic Stellenbosch the second oldest town in South Africa which is rich in Dutch colonial heritage.
Stellenbosch occupies the perfect terroir for grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and a truly South African clone of Pinot Noir and Hermitage: Pinotage.
Move on to visit some of South Africa’s oldest and most famous wine estates. These Grand Old Cape-Dutch farmhouses and wine stores have watched proudly over the land for centuries; and the vineyards & wine estates still produce some of South Africa’s top wines today.
Wineries to be visited today will be pre-selected according to clients wishes.
13:00 Lunch will be at Pierneef Restaurant at La Motte.
Later, visit Franschhoek and the Huguenot Monument; this museum also has an Annexe in which exhibitions on Franschhoek and Huguenot families are displayed. The Annexe, built in 1976, also houses the museum auditorium, research center and souvenir shop.
Thereafter take a short walk through the historic centre of Franschoek.
Return to the hotel and freshen up before heading to Camps Bay for dinner at The Bungalow . Overnight stay.

At 08:00 You will be collected and transferred to the airport for your flight to Windhoek departing at 1000 (flight booked by local operator – TBA). On arrival at Windhoek Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel to check in. Our Living Desert Tour is a unique 4x4 adventure which specialises in bringing the desert to life while sharing the awesome beauty of the Namib Desert with travellers from all over the world. The coastal dune belt may seem barren and lifeless to many people, but in fact it is alive with a fascinating variety of little desert adapted animals, which are able to survive on the life-giving fog which consistently rolls in from the cold Atlantic Ocean.
Come see the Dancing White Lady Spider (Carparachne areola) cartwheel 44 turns per second down a dune to escape the enemy. Admire the transparent Namib Dune Gecko (Pachydactylus range) with webbed feet that are used to walk and dig in soft dune sand and are the equivalent to snow shoes in colder areas. Learn about the different beetles and insects and how they survive in the dune desert. Follow in the tracks of a legless Lizard (Fitsimmon's Burrowing Skink), observe Sand Diving Lizards (Meroles Anchieta) dancing on the hot sand, Sidewinder Snakes (Perinquey's Adder), Desert Chameleons and many more fascinating creatures. Learn about the geology, structure, and formation of the desert, and admire the vast and beautiful landscapes while enjoying a scenic dune drive combined with fun and adrenalin.

Our nature reserve boasts over thirty different animal species consisting of plains game including kudu, giraffe, eland, oryx, hartebeest, zebra, impala and many more roam freely as well as predators such as lion, cheetah, leopard, being everyday residents of the area.
The latest addition to the already abundant wildlife at Onguma Game Reserve is a family of black rhinos! More than 300 bird species are common at Onguma Game Reserve. During the Namibian summer months, the nature reserve becomes a birdwatcher’s paradise with thousands of species migrating to the wetlands created by the seasonal rains and ephemeral river systems.

There are close on 114 species of mammal in Etosha. They include the black-faced impala – there are no southern impala in the park – and the threatened black and white rhino. There are however no buffalo, hippo, crocodile or monkeys, but there is enough to keep you enthralled on a game drive.Return to the lodge for leisure . At 18:00 Dinner at the lodge
After breakfast at the lodge, you will be met and transferred to Windhoek Airport for your onward flight to Johannesburg departing at 1505 (flights arranged by booking agent – TBA). At 09:00 hrs take a hotel shuttle back to the airport for flight to Victoria Falls departing at 1050 (flight booked by local operator – TBA). The Victoria Falls – now believed by some to be in its 150 Millionth year - reaches its zenith in about May each year. It's a truly awe-inspiring experience – the sight, the sound, the smell; the humbling feeling that here indeed is Nature's Supreme Masterpiece. No photograph can begin to depict the reality…and nothing prepares you for your first sight.
En route, you will be taken past the ‘Big Tree’ where you may stop and take photos.
You will be accompanied through the Rainforest by one of our qualified Guides who will give a brief history of the Falls themselves as well as detailing the flora, fauna, bird & wildlife and other points of interest.
Guides are also happy to assist clients with photographs whilst visiting this most spectacular of waterfalls.

18:30 - Depart on your half day Boma Dinner
This is not just another ethnic restaurant but a rather unique cultural experience. Excellent cuisine, including a variety of game meats and traditional Zimbabwean dishes, is accompanied by entertainment throughout your meal from traditional dancers, the Sangoma (story teller) and a local witchdoctor who is available for fortune telling.
The Boma nestles in a Gusu Forest and is partly open to the spectacular African night skies. A feast of nightly entertainment incorporates Shangaan dancers and singers and a local witchdoctor.
Guests are welcomed with a traditional greeting in Shona and Ndebele, the local languages. They are invited to take part in a hand washing ceremony before sampling traditional beer and snacks, as a prelude to dinner.
After dinner, guests are invited to wile away the evening with the restaurant's very own Sangoma - a traditional storyteller to learn more about the country's folklore, culture and heritage.
The highlight of the evening is the interactive drumming and dancing!

Game drives in the Chobe National Park offer excellent game viewing opportunities. If you allow yourself adequate time here you will probably see nearly all the major species: giraffe, elephant, zebra, impala, tsessebe, roan, sable, wildebeest, kudu, buffalo, waterbuck, warthog, eland and accompanying predators including lion, hyena, jackal, bat-eared fox and possibly even cheetah and wild dog. At 19:00 return to the lodge followed by dinner at 1930hrs .
