Today you will enjoy an experience based on interaction and entertainment. The activity invites you to play around, try, and discover the challenge of a winemaker: to create his own work of art by combining different grape varietals... Just down the road, drop in on Tempus Alba Winery, an artisan winery run by an Argentinean family. Everything here is a family effort, enthused with their passion for sharing the land and its traditions. It is a space Cadillac of the winery in an area that is more famous for dusty, adobe-style bodegas and giant concrete juice tanks. Tempus Alba offers a beautifully elegant Cabernet Sauvignon, an intense and rounded Malbec, a complex and cheeky Syrah, a Merlot of deep intrigue, and the incredibly refined Reserve Tempus Pleno - a truly stunning blend that captures the Tempus Alba philosophy ¨We are what we do in every bottle¨. Start off with a guided tour of the winery with one of the members of the Biondolillo family or the winemaker and end up on the outstanding terrace. We then guide you in the challenge of blending our five red varietals to make your tailor-made blend. Enjoy playing winemaking for a day with the owners of the winery and get to learn about your own palate. We will enjoy a delicious lunch with Tempus Alba´s owner on what is without question the terrace with the best view in all Mendoza! After lunch, we continue our tour to Casa El Enemigo. The wines of this winery are deep, linked to the land of Maipú and to the passion of Alejandro Vigil and the family inheritance of Adrianna Catena, youngest daughter of the owner of one of the wine empires of Mendoza, Nicolás Catena. Alejandro is still linked to his commitment to the Catena family and is responsible for the ecology of Catena Zapata, but his purest heart is at Casa El Enemigo, where he makes the wine he feels and which is also the place where he lives with his family. Here, the wines are made with criteria of sustainability and maximum respect to the terrier. The farm has a program for recycling waste and saving water, and wine tourism is considered from the ecological point of view, promoting factors of maximum respect for the environment and the concept of slow food and proximity product in the restaurant, which serves products from its own organic garden. 3 overnights accommodations at Lares de Chacras Hotel Boutique - Classic Room Double Room with breakfast included.

Lujan de Cuyo Wine Tour, Agrelo Region: Las Per dices, Matervini & Susana Balbo Wineries Private Service (Shared Venue) | Vehicle and English-speaking guide at disposal | Duration: Full day (8 hours approx.) | Visits and tastings at Las Per dices and Matervini Wineries, and Gourmet Lunch at Susana Balbo Wines Winery Restaurant, with soft drinks and wine included | Mineral water on board | Available from Monday to Saturday. Today explore the different microclimates in the district of Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo. It is worth combining the large and renowned wineries with the most boutique to understand the essences of each one. You can enjoy the world of wine, accompanied by beautiful landscapes of the pre-mountain range. At the first stop on this tour, we will be delighted to visit Las per dices winery. The reason why its owners chose its name is due to the partridge, a type of bird that adapts to dry and stony climates, just like the vine. Regardless of the adverse circumstances that may arise, it always completes its cycle. Secondly, we will visit the Matervini winery founded in 2008 by Santiago Achaval and Roberto Cipresso, pioneers of Malbec wines from ancient vineyards in Argentina. Matervini focuses mainly on Malbec and how this varietal has various characteristics depending on the region where it is grown. For this reason, the winery is special since it is constantly searching for the perfect Malbec. At midday we visit Susana Balbo Winery (former Dominio Del Plata). This modern, expansive, winery produces rich, concentrated Malbec and it is owned by Argentina's most famous female winemaker, Susana Balbo. You will be welcomed with a glass of wine. Lunch is at Susana´s very house; the menu is amazing and the courses are universally excellent; with clever taste combinations, experienced wine matching, and overall great presentation. After a day full of experience, we will return you to the hotel at 4:30 PM.
