At the scheduled time, we will pick you up at the hotel to begin a tour of the city's main avenues, boulevards, and squares. The tour will begin with an exploration of Colonial Lima. First, we will stop off at the Main Square, to get a chance to explore the square on foot and admire the exteriors of the Government Palace, the Cathedral of Lima, and the City Hall, all examples of Lima's still-present colonial architectural opulence.
We will visit the Cathedral of Lima; as walking through the Cathedral’s numerous chapels, we'll travel to the past and discover various architectural styles (from Renaissance to Neo-Classical), and learn about the religious history of Peru. Our tour continues with the visit to San Francisco Convent built in the 17th century, and its “Catacombs” ancient underground cemetery of Lima.

Full day tour to Sacred Valley: Chinchero village, Maras' Salt pans and Moray Archaeological Site. Lunch at Iskay Maras Home.
This morning, we will continue the trip toward the Sacred Valley; at 17,40 miles (28 km) away from Cusco, we will find Chinchero village, with an altitude 12,375 feet above sea level (3,772 meters), famous for the extraordinary beauty and quality of its textiles, and for its Sunday fair, where local people dress in traditional colorful outfits and travel down from their villages to trade their goods. We will head towards the Salt Pans of Maras. The sight of this still-operating salt mine, in use since Incan times, will amaze us the stark white of the steeply descending salt pans juxtaposed against the green of the surrounding mountain slopes. The journey will continue on until we reach the archaeological site of Moray. Used as an agricultural testing ground, the site's system of circular terraces descends 490 feet (150 m) from where we will stand, serving as a perfect testament to the level of advancement achieved by the Incas, who excelled at building masterful constructions in harmony with nature. We will have lunch in Iskay Maras House

Full day visit to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu departing from the Sacred Valley on 360° train
We will pick you up from your hotel at the scheduled time and go to the train Station. The comfortable train ride from there to the station at Aguas Calientes is packed full of spectacular vistas. On our arrival, we will take a bus that will drop us at the admission fee to the citadel of Machu Picchu itself. Unearthed for modernity by Hiram Bingham more than a century ago, Machu Picchu is considered one of the seven wonders of the world. Its architectural beauty, spectacular natural setting, and the energy that radiates from its enigmatic buildings will take your breath away. We will follow in the footsteps of the ancient Incas as we take a tour of the magical citadel led by one of our guides. Finally, we will return to Aguas Calientes train station and catch the train back. Upon arrival, private transfer to the selected hotel.

Half day Cusco city tour: Cathedral, Qoricancha Inca Temple and the nearby archaeological sites.
At the scheduled time, we will begin the exploration to the nearby ruins: the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, a colossal structure of enormous stones, carved and fitted together with incredible precision; Qenqo, the religious center; we will enjoy a panoramic view of Puca-Pucara, the red fortress and then we will visit Tambomachay with their water fountains. Afterwards, our tour continues in the Imperial City, we will stroll through the Main Square, where we will discover the Cathedral and admire its exquisite vestibules and priceless paintings from the Cusco School of the 17th and 18th centuries. We will continue with a visit to one of the most impressive buildings of Incan Cusco: the Qoricancha (the Golden Temple) - a temple dedicated to the worship of the Sun God, whose interior walls were said to have been covered in gold.

The route of the Sun: from Cusco to Puno
Today we will depart from Cusco to the city of Puno. This beautiful route awaits to surprise us. We will make a stop in Andahuaylillas town and its church, known as the Sistine Chapel of America for the quality of the art it houses. The sanctuary was built by the Jesuits in the 16th century on top of an Inca temple. The church is a small structure consisting of a single nave and the bell tower.
We will continue our tour until we reach Raqchi. The most important building within the complex is the Wiracocha temple. Architecturally it is classified as Kallanka, that is, a tall building completely covered with straw (wood and "ichu"). Externally it is 92 meters long and 25.25 meters wide.
We will finally arrive to the city of Puno.

Full day Titicaca Lake: Uros islands and Taquile island (standard boat)
Today we will enjoy an extraordinary journey across the world's highest navigable lake, Lake Titicaca. We will sail to legendary places where time seems to have stood still. Our first stop will be the Uros floating islands. These are a peculiar grouping of around 40 small islands made totally of totora, a natural reed that grows around the lake. The cheerful inhabitants will invite us to get to know their traditional lifestyle and customs. We will continue our voyage across the placid waters of the lake until arriving to the picturesque Taquile Island, a peaceful place where old Quechua traditions live in perfect balance with modernity. We will discover a landscape distinct from the other islands thanks to the Incan terraces filled with local flowers and crops. The rich colors of the clothing worn by the local inhabitants will amaze us as well their beautiful hand-made fabrics. Most importantly, we will enjoy the unbelievable hospitality of the islanders, known as Taquileños, who will make our visit to the island a memorable one. Before making our way back to Puno, we will have lunch at a local home.

Visit to Ballestas Islands
Very early today, we will visit the Ballestas Islands. During the tour we will appreciate the Bay of Paracas, the San Martin Port, the Candelabro (ancient geoglyph), and then continue towards the Ballestas Islands, where we will appreciate tendrils, pelicans, pikemen, Humboldt penguins, buzzards and sea lions among other species.
Afternoon return to Lima.
