Trekking On The Lake Titicaca Islands

Morning at leisure. Lunch and short trek to Sun Temple Pilcocaina. Motorboat ride to Moon Island, short trek and visit of Sun Virgins Temple. Hydrofoil cruise to Huatajata. Upon arrival stroll through the Andean Roots Eco Village, be part of the mystical night of the Kallawayas and star gaze in the Alajpacha native Observatory. Dinner and overnight at the Inca Utama Hotel.

Board a Hydrofoil and navigate to the Island of Kalauta, the largest Necropolis of the Sacred Lake of the Incas. After a short trek, board a Totora reed boat swinging to the Urus Iruitos Floating Islands and the sustainable Quewaya project. Some indigenous with their llamas and sheep are the only witnesses of your journey through this -still untouched- part of the world. A typical native picnic, called Aptapi is shared with native neighbours. After the visit of the Urus Iruitos and their 5,000 year old culture, return to Huatajata and overland journey back to La Paz.
