It’s famous for its remarkable pinkish-coloured water (due to unique bacteria and its strong salt content) that can turn to purple depending on the intensity of the sunlight. It’s also famous as the last stage of the famed Paris-Dakar car rally. Visit of the salt extractor area, visit of a Peul village. Breakfast at the Hotel Meet your ESG and transfer to Thies, 2nd city of Senegal. Visit to the regional museum, mainly devoted to the history of rail in Senegal. In the afternoon, depart on your safari in Bandia Nature Reserve The Bandia Wildlife Reserve has succeeded in reintroducing much of the marvellous native flora and of some of Africa's magnificent animals; many of which had long disappeared centuries ago, due to population pressures and poaching. Transfer to the Saly Resort for leisure, beaches, sports, shopping… Dinner at the Resort

Breakfast at the Resort then drive to Toubacouta, located in a beautiful wild nature reserve between the ocean & the Saloum River. Enjoy a cruise on the Saloum river. Visit the village and interact with people whose traditional hospitality enables you to share their daily life.. Dinner at the Resort

After breakfast, drive to Joal Fadjouth and Mbour. Joal birthplace of Senegal’s first president, Leopold Sedar Senghor and its picturesque twin, Fadiouth a village covered with oyster and clam shells. The food supplies are houses in granaries built on stilts. Visit the fishing port of Mbour and then get to Saly check in and rest Dinner at the Resort
