Iceland In Style

( 5 Star )
This tour explores the magical island of Iceland, combining breathtaking natural wonders with stunning accommodations. Discover the capital Reykjavík, the mystical Snæfellsnes Peninsula, the remote Highlands, and the dramatic South Coast. The journey concludes with a relaxing soak in the Blue Lagoon.

Arrival at Keflavik Airport and pick-up of a rental car (not included). Drive to Reykjavík and explore the city at leisure. A private walking tour with a Viking guide can be arranged for a unique introduction to the capital. Overnight in a 4-star boutique hotel.

Head north to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, known as "Iceland in Miniature" for its diverse landscapes. Fans of Game of Thrones may recognize some of the scenery. Overnight at Hotel Egilsen in Stykkishólmur.

A full day to explore Snæfellsnes. Highlights include Kirkjufell Mountain, Búðir black church, and the columnar basalt cliffs of Arnarstapi and Gerðuberg. The Snæfellsjökull National Park at the peninsula’s western tip is also a must-see. An optional kayaking tour under Kirkjufell Mountain is available from May to September (not included).

Journey into Iceland’s highlands, heading toward the Húsafell area, near the Langjökull Glacier. Enjoy hiking through birchwood forests, a round of golf, or a soak in a geothermal pool.

Experience a unique tour inside Langjökull Glacier, exploring a 500-meter-long man-made ice tunnel, the largest in the world. The rest of the day is at leisure, with a visit to Krauma Nature Baths recommended for a relaxing soak in geothermal waters fed by Deildartunguhver, Europe’s highest-flowing hot spring.

Travel south toward the Golden Circle, stopping at Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss Waterfall, and Geysir. Arrive at Skálakot Manor Hotel, a luxury farmstead specializing in Icelandic horse breeding, where the next three nights will be spent.

A Super Jeep adventure into Þórsmörk, the Valley of Thor, offers 6–8 hours of off-road exploration. Depending on group fitness, the guide may lead short hikes into the rugged landscape.

A day at leisure to explore Iceland’s South Coast, with its waterfalls, black sand beaches, glaciers, and volcanoes. Alternatively, stay at the hotel and join a horse riding tour.

Travel toward Keflavík Airport, crossing the Reykjanes Peninsula, a geological wonder where lighthouses outnumber villages. Along the way, visit the Lava Tunnel Raufarhólshellir, an extraordinary cave formed by volcanic eruptions. The journey concludes at the Blue Lagoon, with an overnight stay at Silica Hotel, offering direct access to the iconic milky-blue geothermal waters.

Transfer to Keflavík Airport for departure at leisure, bringing an unforgettable Icelandic adventure to a close.

Local Tip
To discover even more of the rugged Icelandic nature, we recommend extending  your tour with a visit to the Westfjords, one of Iceland's best-kept secrets. Here you find unspoiled nature and true Icelandic wilderness. The Westfjords are the ideal place for spotting birds and arctic foxes in their natural habitats and exploring the dainty sub-arctic flora of Iceland. On day 4 Take the ferry from Stykkisholmur to Brjánslækur and spend two nights exploring the area. Follow the Westfjords Way (Vestfjarðaleiðin). It will take you through a landscape found nowhere else on earth, along peaceful coasts, through tunnels of all sorts, down steep, dramatic mountain roads, over tiny, charming bridges, and along beaches with sand of all colors. On day 6 continue to Husafell and with the itinerary as described above.
