Southern Sweden by Train

This tour begins in Sweden’s capital, a city of charm, history, and vibrant waterfronts. On this day, there’s time to explore the historic old town with its winding alleyways, perfect for finding a cosy restaurant in the evening.
After breakfast, travel by train to Gothenburg, Sweden’s second-largest city and gateway to the West. This lively city offers cultural experiences, shopping, and beautiful surroundings, all within walking distance.
The journey continues by train to Malmö, Sweden’s third-largest city. Explore its cultural attractions, including Moderna Museet, and enjoy the city’s excellent restaurants and shopping, especially for Swedish design and fashion.
Travel by train to Kalmar, one of Sweden’s oldest cities, where history is found around every corner.
A full day at leisure in Kalmar. A stroll through the cobbled streets of the Old Town and a visit to Kalmar Castle, with a history spanning 800 years, is recommended.
The journey continues to Linköping, Sweden’s fifth-largest city. The medieval cathedral, one of Scandinavia’s finest landmarks, stands tall as the city’s centrepiece.
