Visit: Stockholm - Boden - Treehotel - Icehotel
An area famous for its magical winters but possibly more stunning in the autumn. Welcome to Swedish Lapland with its beautiful autumn colours. During this trip you will discover the wonderful Swedish nature and two of the country’s most unique hotels. Starting in Stockholm you will have time to see the sights of the capital. The next day you will board the overnight train and head to Boden, the closest train station by the Treehotel. At Boden train station a transfer awaits to bring you to the spectacular Treehotel. Here you will spend one night in the guesthouse and one night in a one-of-a-kind treehouse. After two nights a transfer will take you to the train station where you will take a train to Kiruna. A transfer will take you to the remarkable Icehotel. Welcome to a beautiful and unforgettable travel through Sweden!
On arrival and transfer to Stockholm, capital of Sweden. You can leave your luggage at the high-end urban hotel Downtown Camper. Here you can also ask the concierge for his or her favourite Stockholm spots. Built on fourteen islands and connected by 57 bridges there are many different parts to discover all with their own characteristics. Södermalm is one of our favourites with trendy stores and plenty of cosy cafées. If you are a fan of pop music then you might want to consider visiting the ABBA museum.
Accommodation at Downtown Camper by Scandic (2 nights)
Breakfast at the hotel. On day two in Scandinavia’s capital we suggest you put on your walking shoes and go for a stroll. Heading down on Hamngatan you will get a feel for downtown Stockholm. Take a break in the park of Kungsträdgården before continuing down towards the water. Walking along the famous street Strandvägen you will pass the iconic store Svenskt Tenn – famous worldwide for its textile patterns. From Strandvägen you will be able to walk over toward the Old Town of Stockholm. This a wonderful area to stroll through and it will lead you to the Royal Palace. The hotel is only about fifteen minutes from the Palace. We would also be happy to give you our sightseeing pricelist.
Breakfast at the hotel. You have the entire day to discover the parts of Stockholm that you did not have time to see the first days. Collect your luggage from the hotel and then walk for approximately ten minutes before reaching the Central Station. You will take an overnight train in the evening and will be staying in a private compartment. Breakfast is not served on the train so make sure to pick something up before boarding the train.

You will arrive in Boden in the morning. A transfer will be waiting to take you to the Treehotel. You will get a warm welcome at the Guesthouse of the Treehotel. The guesthouse has a very different and more homey and vintage feel than the out-of-this-world houses in the pine forest. Approximately 10 minutes from the Guesthouse you will find seven futuristic tree houses. All minimalistic and eco-friendly. This night you will be staying in the Mirror Cube which is camouflaged by mirrored walls that reflect the surroundings. We also recommend you add some activities during you stay here – how about a guided tour, a hike or a moose safari?

Breakfast in the Guesthouse at the Treehotel before getting a transfer to the train station. Here you will board a train to Kiruna from where a transfer will take you to the luxurious Icehotel. On TIME’s World’s Greatest Places 2018 list this amazing and first of its kind hotel offers ice rooms all year round. This is made possible through solar-powered controls to prevent melting. This night you will be one of the lucky ones to experience a night in the -5°C cold rooms at Icehotel 365. All suites have an individual theme and are hand carved by artists from all over the world. You will sleep in a thermal sleeping bag and on reindeer skins to get a good night’s sleep. Warm underwear is recommended.
Overnight in an Art Suite at the Icehotel
After a unique night you are awakened with a cup of hot lingonberry juice at your bedside. Breakfast buffet with morning sauna and towels are included. Make the most of the day by adding activities to your stay. There are many to choose from but our favourites are the Northern Lights Tour and Wildness Dinner.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport (included) for your return flight home.
