From there, explore Lake Nicaragua and visit Ometepe Island, formed by two volcanoes that erupted from below the lake. Enjoy the last days on the stunning Pacific Coast of Nicaragua in the beach area of San Juan del Sur, a tranquil fishing village with beautiful white-sand beaches, smooth waters just the perfect setting for friends, families and couples looking for an exceptional experience.
Upon arrival at the airport in Managua, the country’s capital city you will be met by our driver who will accompany you to the hotel. Overnight in Granada.
Breakfast at the hotel. Discover the Spanish-colonial city of Granada, the third-oldest city in the Americas founded by Spanish captain Francisco Hernandez de Cordoba in 1524. Stopover at Doña Elba Cigars a small, family owned factory founded by the first cigar master in Granada Mr. Silvio Reyes since 1991. Explore the City; Colonial Churches and the famous La Calzada Street. Enjoy free time at the Central Park. Ending our tour enjoying a boat trip throughout the lush and romantic islets of Lake Nicaragua. Overnight in Granada.
Breakfast at the hotel. Early departure and transfer to the port of San Jorge. Ferry and visit to Ometepe Island, a biosphere reserve, the highest lake island in the world and one of the most beautiful places of Nicaragua. Then take an unforgettable expedition to places like the pre-Columbian Museum, the Green Puddles lagoon, the great view of Volcano Conception and the green volcano Madera. Lunch will be taken in Santo Domingo beach. Back to the port to take the ferry and transfer to San Juan del Sur. Overnight in San Juan del Sur.
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure in San Juan del Sur. One may visit the small fishing town or just relax on the beach. Overnight in San Juan del Sur.
