Welcome to Nicaragua! We’ll arrive at Managua International Airport by noon local time, and be taken by our expert guide to a local treasure: the Hacienda El Progreso Coffee Farm. During our journey from the airport, our local guide will share with us the history and culture of Nicaragua. Once at the Coffee Farm we will enjoy a group welcome lunch at Hacienda El Progreso, as well as a Coffee Tasting and informational session about the growing traditions of Nicaragua. We’ll also have the opportunity to take in the verdant, prosperous farm. Zip line through the jungle! After lunch, we’ll head up the slope through the jungle to the banks of the Mombacho Volcano. Ever wondered what it would be like to fly through the trees with a volcano looming on the horizon? Well, this is our chance to find out on the adrenaline pumping and scenic Zip line experience! After a busy first day in Nicaragua, we’ll check into our rooms at the Buena Vista Surf Club. The Surf Lodge is flanked by a dense jungle and is a short walk down to the beach! Meals Included: Lunch, Dinner

Start the day off with a fresh breakfast full of locally sourced ingredients! After fuelling up we’ll head down to the beach where we’ll have the opportunity to hone our surfing skills with a private expert. The surfing lesson caters for novice and practiced surfers alike! After an active morning, feel free to purchase food from the lodge or at the taco joint by the beach. Meet the group for a delicious, included hotel dinner. Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner

On Thursday early in the morning our on -site yoga instructor offer yoga classes included to bring some life to your body before a hearty breakfast included at the eco-lodge. Enjoy the beach and before midday we’ll drive to picturesque Granada. Here we’ll have the opportunity to explore the winding streets where you’ll have some free time to try out one of the local cuisines. Next we’ll head to the water and spend the afternoon Kayaking! We’ll be staying overnight at the Hotel Patio del Malinche in Granada and then enjoy a hearty dinner as a group. Meals Included: Breakfast & Dinner

On Friday morning we’ll visit the Masaya Craft Market, also known as the National Artisan Market. The market is filled with local artisan products and all vendors are willing to barter. Make sure you leave with the best deal! Next up we’ll make our way to the north of the city of Leon. There, we’ll visit a local rum factory. We’ll receive an educational talk as well as some time for solo exploration. We’ll be spending the night at Austria Hotel in Leon where we’ll have a group dinner. Leon has a bustling nightlife so feel free to check out some of the local bars after dinner! Meals Included: Breakfast & Dinner

Today we’ll be transported to Cerro Negro to go Volcano Boarding. Yes, you read that right — Volcano boarding! We’ll hike up the slopes of the active cinder cone volcano, known as Cerro Negro, before sliding down its steep, ashy face on boards. Following the unique Volcano Boarding experience, we’ll head back to León. On the way home, we'll stop at a local bar to celebrate our last night! Meals Included: Breakfast & Dinner

Enjoy a delicious farewell breakfast spread as we spend time with our incredible travel friends. Head back home with memories and new friends! Meals Included: Breakfast
