Xin chao! Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam. Hanoi, one of Asia’s most enchanting cities, full of culture, history and the engaging contradictions of a rapidly developing and deeply traditional society. You are greeted by your guide and driver at Noi Bai International Airport for your transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Two full days at leisure to explore this amazing city at your own pace. Hanoi boasts an extensive mix of charm and atmospheres through its different districts, which are made up of diverse architectures, green parks, lakes and daily street life. The city is large and offers much to see and do - here are our top recommendations: for shopping enthusiasts, head to Collective Memory (12 Nha Chung Street) for a gold mine of shopping experiences. For foodies, you’ll find some of the best street-food in the entire city at lunch time on a very narrow street called Ngo Trung Yen at the heart of the Old Quarter. Other enjoyable experiences of Hanoi include sipping on a fresh beer at a bia hoi (try the one at the western edge of Bat Dan Street); having a traditional coffee on Yen Hoa Street nearby the Ho Tay Lake; enjoying a sunset from the Long Bien bridge; or download the Grab app to your mobile phone and explore the city from the back of a motorbike, as you choose your own route through the city, stopping at your desired sites along the way.
Breakfast at hotel before heading out to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Vietnam’s most spectacular natural attractions. We take the new highway and reach the coast in Ha Long. Boarding your private boat, you will cruise around the bay's myriad tiny islands and explore the grottoes created by the wind and the waves. A delicious seafood lunch will be served on board. You will return to the wharf in the afternoon and transfer back to Hanoi.
Note: Cruise itinerary and schedule are subject to change due to weather, tide levels and operating conditions. Swimming or kayaking excursions may be cancelled due to poor weather.
The day is free at your leisure until transfer to Airport for your departure flight.
Landing at Hoi An airport, you are greeted upon arrival and driven to your hotel in Hoi An. Danang is a modern and dynamic coastal city, a regional hub at the doorstep of Hoi An ancient town.
We start our walk across the enchanting ancient town of Hoi An. Follow your guide as you meander your way through the beautiful streets and narrow alleys, which are bordered by ancient yellow-walled houses. We reach a market where you can spend some time exploring the colourful stalls and the variety of foods and souvenirs on offer. Try some local delicacies before we venture further into the town. The guide will show you various places of interest and will also arrange some spontaneous food tastings as we walk. Food, drinks and culinary legends are all on the menu today.
Two full days at leisure to enjoy some shopping in Hoi An town or to go to the beach. We recommend An Bang beach, located about 4-kilometres North of Hoi An. If you want to try some typical local food, here are some helpful hints: street food addicts, we highly recommend you to get a Banh Mi sandwich at Madam Khanh’s stall (115 Tran Cao Van street), a legendary Cao Lau soup or a plate of crispy Hoanh Thanh. If you crave seafood, look for the little Huyen Tran Cong Chua street that goes along the River to the East of the Old Quarter; grab a seat at Song Thu restaurant and ask them to hand you a menu with prices on it.
Rest at leisure before checking out and transferring to the airport for your onward flight.
Xin chao! Welcome to Saigon. You are greeted by your guide and driver at Tan Son Nhat International airport for your transfer to the hotel. Saigon or Ho Chi Minh City is the largest city of Vietnam. It is the bustling economic capital and cultural trendsetter of the country, yet holds the timeless traditions of an ancient culture. Overnight in Saigon.
Enjoy two full days at leisure in Saigon. The metropolis has a lot to offer to both culture lovers, foodies, shoppers and other socialites. If you are into food experiences you may want to try dining in the dark at Noir restaurant, sampling some fusion street-food at Anan restaurant or have a very local serving of broken rice (we recommend the Com Tam Bui at 100 Thach Thi Thanh street in the district 1 – and do not hesitate to visit the nearby Tan Dinh market if you go to that area). Art lovers should head to Thao Dien district where you’ll find Vin Gallery and The Factory Contemporary Art Center. Other places that might spark some interest are the delicious Maison Marou chocolaterie, the trendy Glow skybar rooftop or the shopping gems such as Saigon Square or the unique “designer district” located in an old block on the 26 Ly Tu Trong street.
From Saigon head South to Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta, famous for its coconut production. Upon arrival, set out on a boat trip on narrow channels winding through coconut forests. Stop at brick and coconut processing workshops to see how the locals make bricks by hand and learn how to make different products from coconuts as well. Then jump onto your bike and cycle on village roads through local hamlets, rice fields and coconut groves. Feel free to stop along the way to have a closer look at the local life and culture of this region. You'll then arrive at Mr. Sau Khanh’s house, whose ambition is to collect antiques. His collection varies from ancient and valuable ceramics, pottery pieces like bowls, dishes and vases, to ceiling lights, sculptures and Buddha statues. Chat with him and try out the local skill of climbing coconut trees. Return to the pier and drive to Ho Chi Minh city.
The day is free at your leisure until transfer to airport for your departure flight.
Sua s’dei and welcome to Siem Reap! You are welcomed at the airport by your driver and guide who will transfer you to your hotel in the city centre (rooms are available from 2pm). Make yourself comfortable and enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure, absorbing the various atmospheres of Siem Reap.
Today is dedicated to the discovery of Angkor highlights as we travel around the temples complex. Let’s first explore Angkor Wat, easily the most famous and best-preserved of all temples within the Angkor complex. It is a massive three-tiered structure crowned by five lotus-like towers rising 65-metres from ground level. Visit the ancient walled city of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. Bayon Temple, Baphuon, the royal enclosure, and the Terraces of the Elephants and the Leper King are the main elements of this 12th century masterpiece. We continue to Ta Prohm Temple, which, unlike most of other Angkor temples, has been left just as it was when rediscovered: a photogenic and atmospheric maze of trees growing out of the ruins. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon and enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure.
Enjoy two full days at leisure in Siem Reap. Explore any of the city’s numerous markets, they are all well worth a visit and a photographic spectacle. If you’re into crafts, do not miss the Made In Cambodia market, as well as some craftsmen workshops such as the Artisans d’Angkor. For delicious food and a break from the iconic fried noodles and num pang sandwiches that you’ll find in the street, we recommend visiting one of the social restaurants of Siem Reap. Our top suggested restaurant is Spoons Café with its beautiful bamboo structure and fine Cambodian cuisine. For those interested in learning more about the tragic history of Cambodia, we suggest a visit to the Cambodian Landmine Museum and Relief Centre. Engage in discussions with locals who are passionate about educating visitors about the past as well as the continued issues of landmines that many Cambodians still face today.
The day is free at your leisure until transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for your departure flight. We wish you a pleasant flight!
