Arrival to Belgrade and transfer to your hotel in Belgrade. Accommodation and overnight.

Breakfast at hotel. This morning, we will visit Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. The city is located on the banks of Danube and Sava river and remains an important crossroads of the Balkans. Cultural references are omnipresent. Many monuments are to be discovered, such as the stature of the »victory of Belgrade«, the symbol of the city located in the park of Kalemegdan siting on the top of Mount Avala. Walk the city and discover the Terazije square, the central square, the Parliament, the Republic square with the National Theater and National Museum. Visit the St. Sava Church, overlooking the city with its sparkling dome, today the largest Orthodox church in the world. See the residence of Princess Ljubica, House of Flowers, where former Yugoslavian president Tito is buried. The warmth of the people of Belgrade makes the city even more attractive. Afterwards we will walk thought underground Belgrade with all its secrets and end the tour with a glass of wine in the wine cellar that exudes a unique bohemian atmosphere. Overnight in Belgrade.

Breakfast at hotel and departure to Morava valley. In the morning, we will discover the Smederovo with its fortress, located on a vast plateau at the mount of the Jezava River and Danube. It was built as the capital of the country and the castle of the despot Djuradj Brankovic. Today it represents a cultural monument of exceptional value and a popular tourist site. Continue to Manasija. Visit of the Manasija Monastery, founded by despot Stefan Lazarevic in the first half of the 15th century, where the most beautiful frescoes are found. The monumental rampart with 11 towers, encircled by a moat, represented at the time a modern defence system of the monastery. Drive to Niš for overnight.

This morning we will visit one of the most famous wine growing regions of Serbia know by the so called »Serbian Champagne« that has been consumed for centuries. On slopes of Kopaonik and Jastrebac mountains in the valley of Western Morava in perfect climate conditions authentic sorts of grape are grown: Tamnjanka (Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains, more than 500 years) and Prokupac (more than 1000 years) that are the oldest grape sorts in Serbia. We will also visit »Poljana« – authentic short-time camps for winemakers with picturesque streets and wine cellars and one of the most representative wineries of Župa, the Budimir winery, for lunch and wine tasting. Free time for lunch in the region. Continue to Šumadrija region to visit one of the newest wineries, Temet Winery, near Jagodina, known for their Chardonnay before heading to Kragujevac. Overnight in hotel.

Breakfast at hotel and transfer towards the Royal Mauseleum in Topola. On the way, we will see the »Royal Vineyards« of Vrbica winery where we will stop for wine tasting. After the stop we will discover the Oplenac complex including the Church of Saint-George, built in the Serbo-Byzantine style, the tomb of Karadjorjevic dynasty, the King Peter’s house and the King’s Cave, storing the oldest wines in Serbia. The church was built as the temple and mausoleum of the sovereign family of Karadjordjevic, and its interior is decorated with a mosaic made of 40 million cubes in 15,000 shades. These are copies of the most beautiful frescoes of 60 Serbian monasteries so that experts say that this church represents a true anthology of mural painting, medieval, Serbian. Visit to the famous Aleksandrović Drive to Belgrade. Overnight and dinner in hotel.

After breakfast, we will take a trip to the second largest city in Serbia, Novi Sad. On our way we will stop in a nearby town of Sremski Karlovci, known as the center of Serbian culture of the 18th century. A walk through the cobbled streets of this picturesque town will lead us to the first Serbian high school. Free time for lunch in a local restaurant, afterwards, visit of a local wine cellar. Continue to Novi Sad, a remarkable settlement on the Danube river and an important stopover between the Balkans and Central Europe. Visit the Catholic Cathedral built in a typical neo-gothic style, the Orthodox cathedral and other Serbian cultural institutions. After the visit of the city we will discover the Petrovaradin fortress, the second-largest fortress on the Danube river and one of the most important strategic points in the perpetual war between Austro-Hungarian and Ottoman Empires. Return to Belgrade. Overnight in hotel in Belgrade

Breakfast at hotel. Morning sightseeing tour of Subotica before heading out to Fruška Gora, the first National Park in Serbia. Because of the impressive complex of medieval Serb monasteries, exciting history, extraordinary beauty and priceless spiritual heritage, Fruska Gora is also called the Serbian Holy Mount, after the mountain in Greece, where the Serbian monastery Hilandar is located. There are 17 Orthodox monasteries scattered over the outskirts of the national park, built in late 15th and 16th century. We will visit Krušedol - a XVI century monastery, which is considered for most beautiful monastery of Fruska Gora, and certainly with most important role of its time. National park has valleys and slopes that are covered with meadows, pastures and wheat fields, and on the slopes of the orchards and vineyards with famous wine cellars. Wine tasting in a local winery such as Deurić or Kovačević winery. Return to Belgrade. Overnight in hotel.
