Christmas in Rovaniemi 5 days

( 5 Star )

Visit: Christmas in Rovaniemi for an experience of a lifetime!

Welcome to the country that has declared itself to be the official hometown of Joulupukki - Santa Claus! High above the Arctic Circle, you find his official residence where you can visit him and his elves all year round. On Christmas Day, however, Santa is a busy man and brings presents to children all across the country. In the meantime, Finns enjoy the day by decorating the Christmas tree and by taking a traditional Christmas sauna. It's traditional to have porridge with a hidden almond inside. The person who gets it is considered to be the luckiest one on the table - and has to sing a song. Traditionally, Finns serve Christmas ham, rosolli salad (beetroot), and joulutorttu (pastries) for Christmas dinner. Hyvää Joulua! Rovaniemi is the official home of Santa Claus. Live and love this time of the year in a winter wonderland escape. Try out all the fun adventures made possible by the Finish Lapland climate, from reindeer to snowmobiles to huskies. Take a deep breath of fresh air and enjoy traditional finish hospitality, and hopefully the lady Aurora will appear
