Discover Impressive Fjords


















Arrival in Oslo according to individual travel plans. The Norwegian capital is beautifully situated at the head of the Oslofjord and surrounded by forested hills. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Breakfast at the hotel. Begin the drive west, passing along the Oslofjord and north along Lake Tyrifjord. Continue through Bromma Valley and the Hallingdal region. A recommended stop is the historic Torpo Stave Church. Arrive in Geilo, located on the Hardangervidda Plateau.
Breakfast at the hotel. Cross the Hardangervidda Mountain Plateau and stop at Vøringsfossen, one of Norway’s most famous waterfalls. Descend through Måbødalen Valley to Eidfjord, where the Hardangervidda Nature Centre can be visited (not included). Continue along the Hardangerfjord past Norheimsund, with a stop at Steindalsfossen waterfall. Arrive in Bergen.
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure in Bergen, the gateway to the fjords and a UNESCO-listed city known for its Hanseatic heritage, fjord views, and mountain surroundings.
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart Bergen and take the ferry from Oppedal to Lavik (not included), crossing the Sognefjord. Continue past Førde to the Nordfjord, with another ferry crossing from Anda to Lote (not included). Drive via Straumshamn along the scenic Voldafjord before arriving in Ørsta, nestled in the Sunnmøre Alps.
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure in Ørsta. Optional excursions include hiring a motorboat or bicycle or visiting the Art Nouveau city of Ålesund, where colourful buildings line the harbour and the panoramic viewpoint of Aksla offers stunning views over the town and islands.
Breakfast at the hotel. Take the ferry from Sæbø to Leknes (not included) and continue to Hellesylt. From here, enjoy a one-hour fjord cruise (not included) on the UNESCO-listed Geirangerfjord, known for its steep cliffs and cascading waterfalls. Drive up the Eagle Road for panoramic views and take the short ferry from Eidsdal to Linge (not included). Continue along the Troll Road (Trollstigen) and through Romsdalen Valley to Otta.
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive south through the Gudbrandsdalen Valley to Lillehammer, host of the 1994 Winter Olympics. Recommended visits include the Maihaugen Open Air Museum and the Olympic Park.
Breakfast at the hotel. Return to Oslo, following the route along Lake Mjøsa. A recommended stop is Hamar, home to the Vikingskipet – the Olympic speed-skating arena shaped like an upside-down Viking ship.
