Itinerary

Arrival in Oslo according to individual travel plans. Begin the drive north via Hamar to Lillehammer, host of the 1994 Winter Olympics. Recommended stops include the Maihaugen Open Air Museum and the Olympic Museum.

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive through the picturesque Gudbrandsdalen Valley to Ringebu, then continue along the scenic Ronde Road with views of Rondane National Park. Enter the Østerdalen Valley, home to foxes and elk, and follow the Glomma River north to the UNESCO-listed mining town of Røros.

Breakfast at the hotel. Continue northwest to Trondheim, founded by Viking King Olav Tryggvason in 997. Once Norway’s capital, the city remains the ceremonial home of the Norwegian monarchy.

Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure in Trondheim, Norway’s third-largest city. Explore the historic Nidaros Cathedral, visit the charming Bakklandet district, or walk along the Nidelva River.

Breakfast at the hotel. Travel southwest to the Nordmøre region. Take a ferry crossing from Halsa to Kanestraum (not included) and continue to Kristiansund. From here, cross to Bremsnes and follow the Atlantic Ocean Road – an 8.3 km stretch of road spanning bridges and islands with breathtaking views. Drive through Hustad and Bud to Molde, known for its panoramic mountain views.

Breakfast at the hotel. Begin the day with a ferry crossing from Molde to Vestnes (not included). Continue to Åndalsnes and ascend the Troll Road, one of the most dramatic drives in Norway. Another short ferry from Linge to Eidsdal (not included) brings you to the Eagle Road and into the Geirangerfjord – a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a scenic ferry journey from Geiranger to Hellesylt (included), then drive south through wild landscapes toward Sogndal. Optional evening activity: join a historical boat tour exploring the Viking battlefields of the region (can be included).

Breakfast at the hotel. Head east through fjord and mountain terrain to the village of Beitostølen, near the Jotunheimen mountain range – home to Galdhøpiggen, Norway’s highest peak at 2,469 metres.

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive south via Fagernes and Hønefoss back to Oslo. Optional experience: enjoy a relaxing evening dinner cruise on an electric boat along the Oslofjord (can be included).
